The Solid Earth: past, present and future
4D Dynamic Earth science workshop
๐ Weโre thrilled to invite you to our exciting three-day science workshop as part of the 4D Dynamic Earth project! This hands-on event will bring together top experts from various geoscience fields, who will share the latest discoveries from this ESA-funded initiative.
We warmly welcome early career scientists from around the world to join us and showcase their own research during dedicated poster sessions. This is a fantastic chance to connect and exchange ideas with researchers interested in Solid Earth applications of satellite missions. Plus, stay tunedโdetails on financial support will be available soon!
A broad range of topics are welcome, including -but not limited to:
- Gravity data and inversions (density, viscosity).
- Electromagnetic data and inversions (depth sensitivity, conductivity).
- Seismic datasets and associated inversions (velocity anomalies, anisotropy, temperature, density).
- Deformation from space and associated inversions- GPS and InSAR (viscosity, temperature, composition).
- Petrology.
- Dynamic topography and elastic response of the lithosphere.
- Geohazard applications.
